Telehealth Services for Rural Patients
Here at Northern Beaches Neurology we recognise the challenges faced by those living in rural and remote areas in accessing timely specialist medical care.
We are pleased to offer weekly dedicated appointments with Dr Alexis Selby to help fill this need.
Dr Selby was born and raised in rural NSW and so has a first-hand understanding of the difficulties faced by rural Australians. At the moment this service is primarily aimed at those suffering from primary headache disorders such as migraine but patients with other conditions will be considered on a case by case basis.
I am keen to help those who face long delays or have difficulty travelling long distances for medical appointments. I am passionate about helping those with migraine and other headache disorders, who often have been suffering for many years, not realising that their condition is treatable.
There are of course some instances where Alexis will need to see patients in person in our office in Sydney, but there are many treatments that can be initiated remotely.
