Neurologist (MBBS, FRACP)

Dr Miriam Wronski is a consultant neurologist with sub-specialty expertise in stroke and vascular neurology. Miriam also practices as a general neurologist and is passionate about all areas of clinical neurology. Miriam completed a Stroke Fellowship at Royal North Shore Hospital, Neurology Advanced Training at Royal North Shore Hospital and St George Hospital, and Basic Physician Training at Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney. She has also undertaken additional training in the use of Doppler ultrasound for the diagnosis of cerebrovascular disease.

On graduation from her medical degree at James Cook University in her home town of Townsville, Miriam was awarded both a University Academic Medal and the Whole Time Medical Specialist Prize, awarded to the graduating medical student with the highest academic standing in the medical program.

Miriam is also a qualified Reformer Pilates and NeuroPilates instructor. She has a special interest in the use of NeuroPilates methods as an adjunct to medical management, to optimise motor function and improve quality of life following stroke and other neurological conditions.
